Restaurant La Verita is one of the best restaurants I've ever been(TOP 2). the food is fresh and tasty, the service is impeccable. the owner comes and checks up on you. A1+++++ see you soon Derek.
Enjoyed every dish we ordered. The octopus was cooked perfectly: tender. Their rack of lamb is probably one of the best we've add. So flavorful and melted in the mouth. Each bite was heavenly. The dessert was a little underwhelming. Would not re-order that tiramisu. The service was exceptional: the waiter was very accommodating and knowledgeable of their menu. Prices are high but the quality definitely justifies it.
We had a wonderful dining experience out on their lovely terrace. The food was delicious (as always) but while the service has always been decent to good, last night, it was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly and happy. Our main waiter, Adam was amazing. The terrace was full. He managed to service everyone in a timely manner. He was friendly, warm and could engage in friendly conversation while keeping an attentive eye on all the other tables and anticipating everyone's needs. Our wine glasses were never empty, bread and foccacia were served quickly, water glasses always filled etc. He seemed to care so much about the customers and showed such friendly confidence that we asked if he was the owner. He is not. When we remarked on how impressive he was, he thanked us and then immediately credited his fellow staff members, saying he could not do it without their help. Very nice!. We also met the very lovely Bianca who turns out, is a wonderful new addition. We dine out a couple of times a week and go to lots of different places. Last night was the BEST dining experience. The food was delicious and service was amazing. A big thank you to Adam who made our evening exceptional!
After hearing all the hype about this place I decided to go with a group of friends...I got the seafood pasta which was bland and badly seasoned. I also tried some of my friends plates and all the food that we tried was either cold or bland.The waiter had also tried to rush us off the table for another group coming which is very rude.Needless to say I won't be returning and as an Italian...I'm disappointed.
Went here to celebrate my parents 25th wedding anniversary. We had a lovely time and a delicious meal. Would recommend from small parties and gatherings. Yes the price is a little up there but the portions show for it. You leave feeling full and happy. The staff was warm and accommodating. We got good service even though five of the six didn't drink.
